Hey, I was reading your post and I just wanted to say thank you for putting out such great content. There is so much nonsense on the internet these days its difficult to find anything worthwhile. I actually have cooked this recipe before, I got this book last month on recommendation from a friend http://ninjahq.com/go/cookingrecipes and it turned out really nice! I'm extremely eager to try your variation of it though, it looks excellent. I think you might enjoy those recipes, they're very good. Thanks for the article and tips.

I miss my grandmother everyday. She was like a mother to me. That’s the one thing I regret I was unable to give my children, loving grandparents, although it was out of my control.

I’m going to try to adapt the apple cake recipe to gluten free. Looks so yummy I hope it works!

We just picked apples in the mountains this weekend and apple cake is one of my “to dos”. Older people have a special place in my heart. My Nanny is 94 (you know her) and so awesome – why don’t we record these people? Another of my “to dos” real soon. (Is today “Dirt” day???)

Mmm, now that looks GOOD! I’ve got another apple cake recipe I’ve been meaning to try, but it calls for 6 cups of apples, all peeled and cubed per cake.

This recipe looks like it might be a little more manageable and VERY yummy!

Oh, I have a fresh apple cake recipe that I love. I had forgotten about it until I saw this one. It looks delicious! Aren’t grandparents wonderful? Don’t you wish we could have had them when we were old enough to appreciate them!!
