  • Welcome!

I'm a farm wife, a mama and a photographer living in Virginia.

My camera is typically filled with images of sunrises, dusty fields, even dustier children and whatever we happen to be planting or harvesting at the time.

    Thanks for visiting the farm!

Another Kind of Tree Hugger

“Mommy, why is that tractor hugging that tree?”

“AAHHHHHHH”

Adding to the confusion is the fact that “Hunt Club Chris” (apparently that’s his official name) is the one cutting the timber in our front yard.

Worlds collide.

I don’t have too many photos to share yet because I’m supposed to do something called Stay Out Of The Way.

This pic? Was a no-no. This image was never supposed to be on my memory card. For some mysterious reason, I have been told I’m not allowed to sit in the driveway and take pictures all day long.

Every party has a pooper I guess.

Haha…….I don’t think the normal “”tree hugger” would care for this kind tree hugging!

Send that “tree hugger” to my house. We have almost a 1/2 mile of dead trees to cut down and pull out.

We had these kind of tree huggers at my house back in May. I had 13 pine trees that were over 40 years old cut down on my property. We made a day of it. Gathered on the patio and watched.
