Merry Christmas!

I still have a ton of presents to wrap.

But I have made my final batch of cinnamon rolls, survived my first party of the season and have all the beds ready for allllll of the Cotton Husband’s sisters, my mama and whomever else wants to spend the night here. We’re like a Howard Johnson, y’all.

Merry Christmas to you and yours! I love ya all!

From the Heart of Dixie, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! Enjoy the friends and family and give everyone an extra “hug” and an “I Love You”…So much better than a store bought gift…

I was there last night. It seemed more like a Holiday Inn Express than it did a Howard Johnsons. LOL
Had a great time and the food was delicious, Jennifer.

Our wonderful hostess wrote that she:

ha(d) all the beds ready for allllll of the Cotton Husband’s sisters, my mama and whomever else wants to spend the night here.

Well, here, with just two unexpected guests, our younger daughter wound up sleeping on the floor! My nephew arrived, with his brand-new girlfriend in tow, so Nathan wound up on an air mattress in his mother’s room and Ellen in our younger daughter’s bed.

I got a bedroom to myself and got a beautiful girl bounding in my bedroom to wake me up on Christmas morning It was a wonderful Christmas and I loved every minute of it I looked at it more like staying at The Jefferson with benefits.i still had the antiques WITH armfuls of children to play with. Loved the reindeer glitter so Santa knew where we were and how Santa forgot his bells and gave them to the little one. I wish Christmas was this weekend again–or could I handle it…or could Cotton Wife and Husband handle it??? I will never forget it and loved every minute.
