Tomorrow I’ll get back to the farm (we STILL don’t have all the soybeans in yet!) but today I’ll share with you one more thing we did over the holidays.
Party!
While the Cotton Husband was socializing at the New Years Eve party, I grabbed my camera and stood about 5 inches away from a black box that made me feel like my heart was jumping out of my chest.
It was exhilirating…the rush, the action, the pounding in my ears. Better than eating a Peppermint Patty.
I’ve been friends with this guy’s wife and daughters for years but when he gets on stage, he’s a rock star.
This girl isn’t even with the band but she rocked the house. Or hunt club rather…
My husband says I should look into doing concert photography but then I reminded him that he’d be alone with four children while I was among a bunch of partiers all night. So then he decided perhaps I should just take their cover photos.
Besides, two in the morning is a once a year event at my age and stage. Unless someone needs to be changed and fed.

Oh I hear ya. I can’t hang like I used to either. But that looks like it was fun!
Those pictures are great Looks so professional and Cotton Husband is right–they do look like covers!
Looks like you had a blast! Great pics, too, but you knew I was gonna say that, right?!
Great job on the photos! They look fabulous.
Yea, it’s always a good idea until the guys remember they have to be home with kiddos for extended periods.
Came over from PW!
