Like most afternoons, my girls hollered that they were going outside and let the door slam before I could utter a response.
But this time before they escaped, they said something about the Cotton Husband, a slide and “the best thing EVER”.
Naturally, I was worried.
Here’s what he rigged up in the tract of freshly cut timber…
Oh mah stars.
Do I even HAVE to tell you how popular this was?
Do I have to tell how PROUD he was of himself for dreaming up such a thing?

What an awesome idea – he deserves to be proud of himself! Your kids have such a great life, so pat yourselves on the back for being wonderful parents!!
He is very proud! It does look like a lot of fun though…

Kat,
I think there is very little danger of that!
He makes me literally beam with pride over what a good Daddy he is.
Sa-weet! I’m comin’ over!
He is a great Daddy!
How come your youngest daughter has to sit on a tree stump? She doesn’t get in on the fun? lol
oh mah stars is right. Just be grateful yours doesn’t go over a body of water like ours does. You might want to rein him in, however…I’ve heard of these zipline parks sprouting up all over the place. Soon you’ll be running a business right out of your backyard swamp. Woohoo. I’d be comin’ to visit!
Oh yeah! That looks like fun! Did you get to give it a run, too? I SO would have!
He should be proud. Great dad!!
