Even more than the daffodils coming alive
Even more than ol’ pesky dandelions…
My ancient but wonderfully worn, soft-as-butter sheets drying on the line.
I don’t think I have ever been happier to see spring.
And thanks to Yoga Gal’s visit over the weekend, I have my spring cleaning out of the way already! Yipee!

Yep, we are gettin’ a tease of spring here in the Ozarks…pushin’ near 70 with thunderstoms and WHAM, like a bat out of nowhere the highs are in the 40′s again this weekend. That’s the Ozarks for ya’ll! Heeeheehe!

Our sure sign of spring is lots of mud. We will take it tho as it means all that frigid cold is going away!!!
Oh, Line Drying Sisters! I love it. I did have a blissful night’s sleep last night on those fragrant sheets.
I can’t wait until crops are growing in the fields to add their fresh scent to the laundry.
Oh, how I love sheets on a clothesline! Except when they are frozen… I’ve handled a few frozen sheets in my day! LOL.
Line dried sheets…makes me want a nap RIGHT NOW! One of my favorite memories of childhood was making tents out of the sheets on the line and playing camping in the yard.
I can’t wait. There is nothing better then crawling into bed at night with the smell of sheets fresh off the line!
Nothing any better than sheets off the line. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to your wash instead of softner ( saves money too) oh they smell wonderful!!
This is why I could NEVER live in a gated community! Yes, my clothesline is in spring training also. I even washed a couple of our pillows and hung them out. Funny about the frozen sheets, I had forgotten about removing those frozen bodies from the clothesline in my youth. I would bring them in and prop them up next to the wood cookstove in our farmhouse kitchen!
