  • Welcome!

I'm a farm wife, a mama and a photographer living in Virginia.

My camera is typically filled with images of sunrises, dusty fields, even dustier children and whatever we happen to be planting or harvesting at the time.

    Thanks for visiting the farm!

City Mouse

Besides allowing me to indulge in something I love, photography allows me some other things.

To meet some of the sweetest people in the world and hang out with them for an afternoon.

To hold babies.

And to eat birthday cake – after I get the crucial shots of the birthday baby demolishing his or her cake first.  I still haven’t decided which is the best part – although my britches say it’s watching someone else eat cake.

And I also get to spend some time in the city.

This is a brand-new section of the city where I went to college and earned a degree in government.

I know.

What? THAT was sure useful, wasn’t it?

This is where my gallery opens on Thursday night.  It’s beautiful. Seriously beautiful.

Keith and I will get to go on a “just us” date that night to Aromas and I can just imagine how pretty it will be with the fountains lit up and the quaint little street lamps on.

And then we get to come home to the country and the sky bright with stars.

The best of both worlds.

Come join us if you can!

There has to be a connection between government and photography. I’m not sure what that connection is, but I do know you’ve mastered the photography part.

Congratulations on your show!

Dates are always good , and fountains at nite with lights, even better for romance:) I wish I could come to this opening, too much softball this weekend…Have a fabulous time:)

Good luck with the opening. I know you and Keith will have a wonderful time.

And about that government degree. Could we run you for some kind of office. Anyone who can juggle as many things as you, could probably straighten out some of the mess we’re in.

And you were exactly right about the brown at the face. It was just enough to make her eyes sparkle. I can’t wait until it’s warm enough for her to wear it.

The city is nice to visit from time to time. But it doesn’t hold a candle to the peace and beauty of the country.
I SO wish I could come and visit you at Newport News.
ONE OF THESE DAYS THOUGH!
