My Boy, He Is Different

June16th 162

None of my little girls ever did this.

(She’d have done better trying to coax him out with some Nabs.)

And while the girls wanted to make brownies the other day, M.K. scratched at the door like a little puppy until I let him out.

Where he dug in the dirt before getting in his car and driving a thousand miles. b3

So far his first words are “Tractor” and “Daddy”, he grabs for your beer, he hates baths and he has no trouble ripping that diaper off any old time.

Whoo, boy. I think this one is going to keep me on my toes.

I think you’re right, but oh, he’s such a cutie! After 3 daughters, and 3 granddaughters, I hope to get a grandson some day and find out what it’s like!!

  3. tee hee! I love this post! Isn’t it amazing how different boys are!?!? I remember as a baby my son picking up a car or truck and making the rrrmmm sound and how it hit me. It’s so wonderul, I know your husband loves it! He’ll be on that tractor in no time! lol

Yep, it’s born into them. Our son is all boy, too. I am constantly amazed at the stuff he does that he has never “learned” from anyone. He is now at the age where he is learning how to do the stuff his daddy does— burn trash, till the garden, use tools (or at least carry them around and look important :) ). But the boy in him is still excited by every skid mark his bike leaves in the driveway.

I had a friend who used to have to use duct tape on their toddler’s diaper so she wouldn’t be able to rip it off
