I am desperate for fall.
Desperate for the humidity to leave.
Longing for the incessant drone of the window air conditioners to stop.
Dreaming of a day without those miserable summer colds.
And almost giddy at the thought of lighting some huge, smelly cinnamon/pumpkin/harvest spice bomb candles while sipping hot tea.
And I really miss my jeans and boots. A lot.

Congratulations and I am fully expecting pics of you and your bling!
I hate for the summer to go, but this one has been so hot, perhaps I wont hate it so bad this year! The older I get the more I enjoy cooler temps and I do love those cinnamon spiced candles (and isnt it just tooo hot in the summer to enjoy them). I love pumpkins and I adore the carving of them!! The harder the better. We like the real ones – not those fake things! Perhaps the changing of seasons is a good thing! Always something to look forward to!!!!
When i look at your pictures I can smell and taste fall! So lovely. Fall, my favorite season. Chicago winters are uhm…cold. Springs are unpredictable at best, this summer was unbearably hot but fall always rises to the occasion.
you always get me excited about fall! this summer has been so extreme, I’m ready to see some cooler weather. Ready to do some decorating too!
I LOVE fall! It is my favorite season. The smells are the best with the crunch of the leaves however; the older I get the more I dread winter. I am looking forward to jeans and sweaters again. The tan is fading time to cover up!
Confession: I’m not a fall girl. The transition into chaotic mornings, nights and week-ends, the increasingly shorter days, the need for jackets. No. No. No. Bring on spring! (And do it quickly.)
Wow I WON, I am SO excited. Those earrings are simple gorgeous! Love love love them!
Thanks so very very much.
I LOVE the new pic of you on your homepage!!! You are so pretty…can see where your kids get all their good looks…or at least half.
Congratulations Charming’s Mama.
I love the fall pictures. I think fall has to be my favorite season.
You look forward to fall like I look forward to Christmas. I get excited when I see Halloween things at the store because I know that means Christmas trees will be up in about four weeks, haha!
