Welcome to Warthan Farms – our sprawling, peaceful family farm in one of the most beautiful areas of Virginia. Here you can run carefree in the barnyard, skip down wooded paths, cozy up in my farmhouse studio and maybe even splash in our creeks. It’s a place where you and those who love you can take time to be silly, be content… be yourselves and feel reconnected. And you’ll have your beautiful portraits to always be reminded.

If you will be arriving from out of town, I would love if you stayed overnight or spent a weekend here on the farm in our three bedroom cottage just across the road from my own home.
Newborn sessions include a complimentary maternity mini-session.

I shoot on film, digital or a combination of both. There is no extra fee if film is requested.
boudoir sessions are shot exclusively on film.
You will be able to view and order your beautiful, heirloom portraits in an online gallery for your convenience. Simple and stress-free. There are at least 30 images included in your gallery but often many more. If, for instance, you decide to have a super-duper-competitive piggyback-ride race with your family I will include that entire series in your gallery! Once you’ve ordered, I would love to share your images via Facebook and here on my blog. You will also receive a mobile gallery via a custom Warthan Farms app for your smartphone. Perfect for sharing with friends and family.

A deposit of $100 is due in order to book your custom photography session and the full amount can be applied as a credit towards all purchases of $500 or more. Warthan Farms Photography accepts payment in the form of cash, check or credit card.

Deposits are non-refundable due to the custom nature of photography. Except in the case of inclement weather, sessions must be rescheduled within 48 hours or your deposit will be forfeited.
