Last weekend “officially” wrapped up wedding season for me. I put officially in quotes because I don’t think there’s a real wedding season anymore… I just don’t happen to have any more scheduled until April (for now!).
Since April, I’ve photographed eleven weddings and far more bridal portraits than that. And boy are my legs tired! Sorry, bad joke. But while – yes – wedding days are long and the work continues long after I get home, they’re completely worth it. Weddings are filled with joy, laughter, a few tears and really, really good cake. What’s not to like?
